What I've Been Up To...

I tend to do something until I'm burned out on it and can't stand it anymore. Ex- sewing newsboy hats until I don't even want to see another one or eating a PB&J sandwich every day for lunch in the 6th grade and not being able to eat another for years.

I've been really feeling my creative side lately and found a way to not get bored with sewing multiples of the same item!

Embellishments!

I have made 14 zipper bags and am working on 4 more. The difference this time is each bag is lovingly design and hand embellished with vintage lace and buttons. So instead of feeling like a human assembly line, I am putting my creativity to work. Plus there is a variety to steps. I am mixing machine sewing with hand sewing...so if/when I get tired of one and can pick up another bag in progress and work on it.
