What a cool idea, I probably never would have thought of making laundry soap...I love your blog by the way! I also am a fan of using vintage sheets...and saving money! :)
tried this and love it. don't think i'll ever use store bought soap again. is it possible to make your own dish washing liquid as well (for hand washing, not machine)?
There is a way to make liquid laundry detergent, but I've never tried it for handwashing. I've had a bit of trouble getting the measurements right for the liquid and I don't want to use something that may be a little too gelled on my hand washing items so I stick with store bought on that.
I'm Whitney and I have been creating and posting Whitney Sews videos here on youTube for 7+ years. It is my goal to create DIY projects that anyone can make, no matter their skill level. I also love to share haul videos along with some snippets of my life here in Oklahoma with my husband, our two kids, and two dachshunds. We are nerds and we know it so you're likely to see some costumes and hear some dorky references once in a while. I hope you will check out some of my videos and subscribe so you don't miss any in the future.
Happy Sewing!
